Palabra Viviente UMC launches free tax services program
Palabra Viviente United Methodist Church in Everett, WA, is offering free tax services in collaboration with VITA IRS. With this initiative, led by their pastor, Jose Pacheco, the church has embarked on a mission to alleviate the financial burden of tax preparation for families earning $65,000 or less annually.
Equity cohorts across the GNW begin the work of eliminating racism
Sixty leaders from across the Greater Northwest Area have started to gather to intentionally explore andf address equity in our institutional life. The gatherings reflect a major initiative to address the “E” – eliminating racism – in our call to go the M.I.L.E.
