Provisional Conference Schedule

As different parts of the Annual Conference Session are set into place, they will be added to the schedule on this page. Everything is subject to change, but every effort will be made to keep this page up to date.

GNW Opening Session

May 20, 2026, Livestream premiering at 3 p.m. PT

The shared Greater Northwest Area Opening Session will premiere on Wednesday, May 20th, at 3 pm PT. A recording of the opening will be available shortly after its premiere. With the Bishop’s Episcopal Address, updates on area-wide ministries and initiatives, delivered with thoughtful worship elements, we strongly encourage members to watch the session as it premieres or as soon as they are able. If it is practical to watch the opening in community, we would encourage it as well.

PNW Focus Sessions

May 28 & 29, 2026, 6-7:30 p.m. PT

During the Focus Sessions, conference members will discuss legislative items that have been submitted for consideration by the annual conference.

PNW Clergy Session

June 3, 2026, Time TBD

The clergy session is the gathering of ordained and licensed clergy during Annual Conference where clergy matters are addressed. It is a required meeting of clergy to worship, maintain accountability, hear reports, and act on items such as ordination, commissioning, appointments, retirements, and disciplinary responsibilities, separate from the broader conference session.

PNW Annual Conference Sessions

Tuesday thru Thursday, June 23-25, 2026

Our 2026 Pacific Northwest Annual Conference is scheduled to take place June 23-25 at Spokane Valley United Methodist Church. The sessions will be hybrid with online voting. Conference is expected to begin Tuesday (June 23) morning and conclude midday on Thursday (June 25). More details will be shared in the coming weeks and months.

Times for Focus Sessions and other pre-conference meetings will be added to this page as soon as they are set.

Members will be sent Zoom links and voting information during the week preceding annual conference along with other materials essential for their participation.

A livestream of most of the proceedings will be available for remote viewers on this website.

GNW Closing Session

June 30, 2026, Livestream Premiering at 10:30 a.m. PT

The shared Greater Northwest Area Closing Session will premiere on Saturday, June 30th, at 10:30 am PT. A recording of the closing will be available shortly after its premiere. Members are encouraged to watch the session to learn about and celebrate the ministry taking place across the Greater Northwest and within the Alaska, Oregon-Idaho, and Pacific Northwest Conferences.
