Skill-building: Intercultural Competency and Equity

Intercultural competency is developmental. An awareness of the stages of intercultural development allows leaders to predict misunderstandings and better assist congregations in addressing multiple cultural perspectives and traditions. Participants will gain a more complex understanding of their congregations and communities and learn to approach ministries through an equity lens. The workshop fulfills the intercultural competency requirement for pastoral leaders in the PNW Conference and is open to all under appointment or assignment in the GNW Area.

- October 10, 9AM – 5PM Puget Sound
- November 7, 9AM – 5PM Spokane Area
- December 4, 9AM – 5PM Vancouver Area
