An Abundant Health education event on the topic of ‘Mental Health and the Church’ is being offer on March 19, 2024, from 6-7:15 p.m. PT on Zoom. The course is presented by Jasmine Ray-Symms, MA, who serves on the Mental Health Task Force for Disability Ministries for The United Methodist Church. The discussion with cover the prevalence and experience of those diagnosed with mental illness, the stigma attached, and ways to minister to this misunderstood population.
