Advanced Preaching Class for Certified Lay Ministers and Lay Speakers

The Advanced Preaching Class is intended to provide students with advanced skills in preaching and to give them feedback from experienced preachers in our Conference on a sermon they prepare and deliver. Participants must attend both sessions and prepare a written manuscript of a sermon on an assigned text during the week between the sessions.

This free course will be offered online via the Zoom Platform on October 21 and 28, 2023, from 9 a.m. to Noon PT. Registration is limited to nine students and closes on October 6. You can register online here: https://gnw-reg.brtapp.com/AdvancedPreaching2023

Laity from the Alaska, Oregon-Idaho, and Pacific Northwest Conferences who have completed an Introductory Course in Preaching are eligible to attend. This class qualifies as an approved advanced course for both CLMs and certified lay speakers.
