We live in anxious times. Each new change we face, be it in our family, our church, or our nation, brings a fresh wave. When faced with change or the anxiety of others, the one thing we have control over is ourselves. The way we engage the situation can either calm the anxiety or feed it. Join retreat leaders Sue Magrath and Dr. Denise McGuinness to explore how to process your own anxiety and be a non-anxious presence for others.
We begin with dinner on Friday evening followed by a time of centering and an introduction to our topic. Saturday leads us deeper and includes a presentation and Q & A on the previous month’s General Conference 2019 by DS Mary Huycke, the clergy delegate from our Annual Conference. We wrap up our time apart on Sunday morning and depart just prior to lunch.
