Aldersgate UMC (Bellevue, WA): P/T Preschool Director

Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Bellevue, Washington, is in search for a part-time director for our Christian Preschool program, 15 -20 hours a week at $35.00 per hour

Aldersgate Christian Preschool (ACP) provides a warm, caring, open, accepting and inclusive preschool program which fosters Christian values. At ACP we believe in the education of the whole child – intellectually, spiritually, emotionally and physically. All are welcome at ACP!

The ACP Director is responsible for management and oversight of the preschool following all requirements of the United Methodist Church and the Washington State Department of Early Learning. The Director has responsibility for staffing,  meeting the requirements of the ACP program, and managing the daily operations of the preschool.

Education and Experience:

• Knowledge of current Best Practices in Early Childhood Education with a minimum
• Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in education, early childhood, or related field
• Demonstrated experience as an administrator of a preschool or childcare center
• Experience preparing an annual budget with a knowledge of business financial management
