The Treasurer’s office of the Pacific Northwest Annual Conference is a hub of activity. Our primary goal is to provide quality service to the annual conference’s churches. The phones and computers at our desks hum all day long with messages and emails asking questions and seeking information, advice, or instruction on local church or annual conference matters. There are no insignificant questions. We are ready to respond to your needs or find the answer quickly.
We are commonly asked about apportionments, benefits, fire and liability coverage, property tax, income tax for clergy, church structure, questions about the United Methodist Discipline, accounting issues, safe church guidelines, moving expenses, and so on. Feel free to call the office when you need help, we are here to serve you.
A couple of common questions we get:
IRS mileage allowance
The IRS has changed the maximum allowable mileage rate for business travel to 70¢ per mile beginning in 2024. The rate for volunteers remains at 14 cents per mile.
Where can I find the Group Ruling Form for tax purposes?
