Bishop Bridgeforth announces appointments to Puget Sound District Superintendency Team for 2026
Bishop Cedrick D. Bridgeforth intends to appoint Rev. Joel Aosved, Rev. Pat Longstroth, and Rev. Joe Kim to a superintendency team overseeing the Puget Sound District beginning July 1, 2026. Rev. Mark Galang will continue to serve as Puget Sound District Superintendent through the next appointment year before ending his tenure in the role.

United Methodist Church and Nez Perce Tribe celebrate Land Return
Recently, the PNW Conference of The United Methodist Church formally returned the historic Lapwai church property to the Nez Perce Tribe. Church and tribal leaders gathered for a moving celebration of prayer, song, and shared history — honoring the past and looking ahead to how the site will continue to serve the community in new ways.
