To Do Justice. To Love Kindness. To Walk Humbly with God.
Presidential administrations, Congress, and elected officials come and go, but the call of our faith endures. As United Women in Faith members and friends, we are working towards a long-term
kin-dom vision of liberation, justice, and peace that is not limited to the particular politics of any given term. Our vision and our hope for women, children, and youth are anchored in God’s faithfulness to us, which calls forward our faithfulness to the work of putting love into action. We can’t know what the next four years will bring, but we can be intentional about our own commitments. As a member or friend of United Women in Faith, please join us in signing this pledge “To Do Justice. To Love Kindness. To Walk Humbly with God.”
He has told you, O mortal, what is good, and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice and to love kindness and to walk humbly with your God?
(Micah 6:8)
As a member/friend of United Women in Faith, I make a public commitment today:
To do justice, working together with my sisters towards a long-term vision of racial justice, climate justice, gender justice, and ending mass incarceration and criminalization of communities of color, putting one foot in front of the other even when it’s an uphill climb.
To love kindness, remembering that all people are beloved by God, created with inherent dignity, and worthy of respect and kindness, even if they do not share my thoughts or beliefs.
To walk humbly with our God, in prayer and action, trusting that while I may not know the path ahead, God has promised us a future with hope, and God does not disappoint.
As a sisterhood of women, we are committed to working together across lines of difference. We will continue the work to which we have been called today, tomorrow, and in the years to come.
Sign your name now to put yourself on the map as making the United Women in Faith Micah 6:8 Commitment.

Regionalization
What is regionalization? Regionalization allows United Methodists throughout our connection to best serve their unique communities as they share the love of God, make disciples, and transform the world.

Disaffiliation FAQs
As of today, just under 7,000 churches have disaffiliated from The United Methodist Church, with more expected to follow before the cutoff date of Dec. 31, 2023. This often-heartbreaking season will hopefully be coming to an end, but United Women in Faith members will still have questions and will be looking to you for answers.
You can share and access a regularly updated, frequently asked questions resource on United Women in Faith and Disaffiliation at tinyurl.com/UWFaithFAQs.
Please do reach out to me at any time if you have questions or need clarity. You can also contact membership@uwfaith.org.
Despite—or maybe even because of—this contentious season, now is the perfect time to invite women to United Women in Faith. This time of discernment has given us a body of people who have searched their hearts and souls and come out the other side with a new understanding of and commitment to being United Methodist and United Women in Faith. There’s a new energy and pride and rootedness.
Don’t miss this chance to let the women who need us know our doors are open.
