The Global Mission Fellows Program is a paid, faith-based opportunity for 20-30 year olds to serve two years in social justice based ministries in United States and around the world. Currently our 119 Fellows are serving in 42 countries addressing issues such as Poverty Alleviation, Migration, Hunger, Eco Justice, Peace Building, Children and Youth, among others. You could call us a United Methodist version of the Peace Corps or AmeriCorps (which is fitting since the Peace Corps modeled their program in part on the US-2 Program). Fellows get a living stipend, health insurance, housing, moving costs, visa (if necessary), training, an end of service award of $1,500.00, and more.Â
We are looking for young adults between 20-30 who are Christian, have a College Degree or equivalent life experience, Professional Proficient English, and a willingness to commit two years.
Our application is currently open, and you can find that here. Our Final Deadline is January 7, 2018, and we would love to have you apply.
