Rev. Kim Fields to Central United Protestant Church

It is the intention of Bishop Grant Hagiya to appoint the Rev. Kim Fields as Senior Pastor to Central United Protestant Church, a United Methodist church in Richland Washington, effective July 1, 2016.

Kim comes to the Pacific Northwest Conference after being District Superintendent of the Sage District, Assistant to the Bishop, and Dean of the Cabinet in the Oregon-Idaho Conference.  Born and raised in Idaho, Kim is a graduate of San Francisco Theological Seminary, ordained in 1994. Kim served four churches in Southern Idaho: American Falls, Aberdeen, St. Paul’s in Idaho Falls, and Nampa First.  He also served on the Conference Leadership Team, Board of Ordained Ministry and the Ministry Leadership Team.

Kim is married to Lorraine, they have four grown children, three grandchildren and one more due in March.  Kim is excited for the chance to serve Central United Protestant and the opportunity to get to know the people of the PNW.
