Bishop Elaine JW Stanovsky intends to appoint the Rev. Karen Yokota Love as Lead Pastor of Blaine Memorial United Methodist Church in Seattle, Washington, beginning July 1, 2019.
Rev. Love is currently serving Mason United Methodist Church in Tacoma, Washington.
It was previously announced that Rev. Derek Nakano, who currently serves Blaine Memorial, will be appointed as Superintendent of the SeaTac Missional District.
