It has been announced by Path1, our denomination’s church-planting movement, that the Rev. Curtis Brown will be joining their staff as the Western Jurisdiction Regional Strategist in late March. The position is tasked to collaborate, coach, partner, and network with leaders in the Western Jurisdiction leaders in designing and implementing indigenous, faithful, and fruitful new church start systems.
Rev. Brown has served as the Director of Faith Community Development for the Pacific Northwest Conference since July of 2011. During this time, he has done significant work in providing structure to our conference efforts to create new faith communities. Curtis has also been an eager resource for congregations seeking to revitalize their efforts to engage their communities and to develop intentional discipleship systems.
Rev. Brown’s final day with the Pacific Northwest Conference will be March 22, 2015. Please join us in praying for Curtis as he begins this new and challenging work.
