The world is in need of healing. People in our own neighborhoods and community (and in places you and I may never go) are in spiritual, emotional and physical need. This year, please consider helping someone through The United Methodist Church.
Several members of the Ronald UMC family have embraced different ways to recognize family and friends at special times of the year. Instead of giving and receiving purchased gifts they are making donations to the church or through the Advance Special.
This season, encourage family and friends to gift you through the Advance. The option for this kind of alternative giving offers the opportunity to provide the perfect gift for those who already have everything (and it relieves you of having to find a place for more stuff!)
When you give through the Advance, 100% of your donation goes to the project you choose. Below are suggestions for you to consider. You can give through your local church by check in the memo line the Advance #.
The suggested alternative giving might include:
- Missionaries you have covenant relationship
- Conference Advance Special projects
- UMCOR projects
