Henshaw named PNW Conference treasurer in 2014
Brant Henshaw has been working in the Conference office for the past five years as the assistant treasurer and assistant benefits officer. He also served as the executive director for Camp and Retreat Ministries before transitioning over to the Treasurer’s office. He is a member at Aldersgate UMC in Bellevue, Wash.
Henshaw is a Seattle native and lifelong Methodist who, after graduating from the University of Puget Sound with a degree in Economics and Finance, headed off on a planned 18-month backpacking trip through Asia. With several detours under his belt and time spent working in Australia, Japan, and Hong Kong; he “settled” in Taipei, Taiwan for 11 years managing a not-for-profit that served ex-patriot members of the community.
In 2001, he returned to the Seattle area and put down roots with his wife Lynn and sons (Dawson and Will) who keep him humble while also keeping him on his toes. When not involved in family activities he is a fan of college basketball, likes to compete with himself in athletic endeavors (Columbia Tower Climb, running), read books in a variety of genres and topic areas, travel, and loves learning new things and having new gadgets.
