The new label for the annual “Jars” donations is now available. This is an opportunity to donate toward the ministry of the two orphanages in the DR Congo. Nearly 70 children and teens are in care.
The offering is usually taken during Eastertide (begins in April) until Annual Conference in June. Labels may be printed for people to put on a jar at their home. Many churches put a large jar in the church entry for donations.
Please convert the donations into a check and bring it to Annual Conference. Or remit to the conference treasurer. Donations may also be made directly to the conference office*.
Jamaa Letu Orphanages are a project of The Pacific Northwest Conference and The South Congo Episcopal Area of The United Methodist Church. Visit the website for more information about the ministry of the two orphanages: www.jamaaletu.org
*Monetary gifts can be sent to PNWUMC: P.O. Box 13650, Des Moines, WA 98198.
