First UMC of Tacoma offers support, hospitality, to striking teachers

Starting September 6th, First United Methodist Church of Tacoma (FUMCOT) has been offering hospitality to educators on strike in the Tacoma School District. Over the first three days of the strike, the church hosted over 2,000 teachers and educators.
