As summer winds down, Lazy Daze 2016, designed for “Older” Adults (60-ish plus) is being planned for September 13 – 15. The retreat will help you to help the transition into fall with a relaxed mind and enough memories to carry you through the cold days of winter! Lazy F is the perfect setting for this end of summer program specifically designed for older folks to stretch our minds and bodies, relax, reconnect with friends and grow in faith. Plus, have lots of fun doing it!

The program for 2016 is developed around ‘Arts and Our Spirituality’ – to help us come away from the retreat feeling refreshed and ready for the busy Fall. There will be discussions to help us discover new and deeper paths to our spirituality; how the arts can help us express our spirituality in new ways; the stages of our spirituality and much more. There will be lots of music, free time, good food, great discussions and with a few surprises thrown in, also!
Lazy F Camp and Retreat Center is located along the river in the Manastash Canyon, about 20 minutes from Ellensburg, WA. Lazy F is a beautiful setting for getting away for a few days in the gorgeous September weather. Come, join other like-minded Older Adults to relax and enjoy the time at Lazy Daze 2016. You’ll be glad you did!
Registration is available at: www.lazyfcamp.org, look for the ‘camps and retreats” tab, then ‘Adult Camps.’ Register very soon as the lodges fill up quickly! Questions? Call 509.962.2780 or email: office@lazyfcamp.org.
I hope your publicity touches individuals from several churches. It is a good experience for those who participate. If anyone who reads this has an interest, talk it up in your local church and see if you can fill a car. Great place to relax, commune with nature and participate in some meaningful activities. I should know, I have been doing it since the 1990’s. And pastors, “if you tell them, they will come”. And oh, I almost forgot, the “food is good, too”.
